Depends on budget, and what stage you are up to. From simple to sky is the limit. Several insulation companies have specific Isolation products, Knauf, Boral and the venerable Rockwool, though installers don't like the fibres. If you can afford it, 2 x sheets of 16mm plaster is good. Lay the 2nd at 90 degrees, and seal all joints properly with an acoustic sealant. You might have to do 3 thinner sheets on the ceiling, as 16mm is heavy. Does not need to be FyrCheck. Airtight is sound tight. Solid Core doors, with full Raven seals, including the Threshold. Windows, you can get Double Glazed ones, with a bigger air gap to reduce noise, though you sacrifice some of the heat benefits. I also have Hebel power floors instead if yellow tongue board to my top floor. Can barely hear a thing out of the home theatre.
