Hi has anyone got the thermo sealed batts in their home. Our builder uses them instead of gold batts etc.
They look like pillows in plastic. I have seen them before but dont know anyone with them so not sure how efficient they are.

It was an interesting insulation concept, DYOR. Your builder might have to use a mineral fibre type product around the R4.0 R-value, if you are in and around Perth WA. Good luck. Yes we are in Perth and will need insulation between the 1st & 2nd storey and of course in the roof... I guess they will notify us when needed then... BTW what does DOYR mean?
