Intelligent life now advise that they only manufacture. all repairs and servicing is done by third party businesses, they gave me a contact for one and when i called them they said that they didnt. The ac is overdue for a service by 2 years - and i have given up on getting a resolution. for me this is how i making it work. In the summer the AC comes on as scheduled and is set at fan speed SLOW. the reduced air flow seems to let the unit in the roof cool down quicker, then when the air is coming out nice and cold (by which time there is at least some cooling in the rooms), i switch the FAN speed to MEDIUM and then you can feel the cooling much better. after about 20 mins the air is not as cool and i switch the FAN to SLOW and let the air get cooler again, then back on to MEDIUM. obviously i don't have the time to do this throughout the day, but as i do remember i make the switch that seems to do the trick. If they could program the controller with and additional button 'ALTERNATE' rather than just SLOW, MEDIUM and FAST then this would fix it all up. Its the same for WINTER when using heat. The security code on the controller on mine is IL741 - which allows you to see a few more funtions such as the intake air temperature. its with this i can see that when switching the fan to SLOW the intake temp lowers in summer and increases in WINTER. from this i take it that the the FAN unit is not matched to the cooling/heating unit with the FAN being to powerful. Other issues - when all rooms have reached temperature, excess air is supposed to be released through vents on the landing, which it does seem to to sometimes, other times it will just gush out one of the bedrooms like a gale force wind even though that room has reached the desired temperature...it continues to cool it down. ALSO all hand held remote controls have failed with RF error. All in all a good well though of system completely let down with poor quality components throughout. Thanks for your reply. I will just wait and see I guess.
