Browse Forums Heating, Cooling & Insulation 1 Jul 02, 2012 10:02 pm Hey there, I don't know much about Air con system but what I do know is i like my house to be freezing in Summer. We got 4.3kw solar panel system on our roof so power consumption shouldn't be a worry. I am sure many people have done the research and looked for good suppliers/systems/good price in Perth area. Our house is about 240sqm with 4 bedrooms. So my question is who does the best deal for the right price with great quality system. Re: Ducted Refridgerated Air Con Perth 3Jul 06, 2012 10:36 pm Hey AC27 When I get started I will probably go with Actron. OUrs is a two storey so we will get the biggest they have. I like the fact that it can be stepped down. I spoke with Richard at season makers in balacatta. Tell him Mark recommended you. PM me if you want his email. Cheers Mark Re: Ducted Refridgerated Air Con Perth 4Jul 07, 2012 9:19 am Looking to instal Actron as well, have been dealing with Jeff Caldman from Jeff Moritz Gas and Air, he has been very helpful.. Re: Ducted Refridgerated Air Con Perth 6Jul 07, 2012 12:42 pm ok went to ikea dismorning had to pass balcatta on the way back called in to season makers only a old guy called Barry was there brought in a plan of our house. Got qouted $13729 for a 14.4KW Actron system. Re: Ducted Refridgerated Air Con Perth 7Jul 07, 2012 12:49 pm Yes Richard had mentioned that they had some decent deals going on presently. For piece of mind I would see what the comparable Daikin goes for and compare prices they may be able to shave some off. Keep in mind though that the installation is also key as you dont want sub-standard installation. Good luck and keep us informed. Ciao Mark Re: Ducted Refridgerated Air Con Perth 8Jul 12, 2012 5:06 pm I opted for an Actron unit myself, our house is about 300m2 internal with 5 bedrooms. I choose the Actron unit over the Daiken offered as standard by the builder because of the scalability of the unit and the greater flexibility offered by the Actron Ultima units. As an added benefit I think the installer I have chosen is probably more professional than the builder's contractor and I can rely on them for after sales service. I imagine that I would never hear from the builder's contractor ever again! Rough in done already. Just remember Actron is dearer than the rest. Oz company, Oz backup, and simply a better product than the rest when you you look at it overall. Having said that if you have crap installers any system will be rubbish.
