Browse Forums Heating, Cooling & Insulation 1 Jun 14, 2012 9:03 pm Hi all, I have a typical inwall / inwindow a/c. You know the old types they stuck in windows or in my case cut out in the brick wall. I was going to brick it up but was wondering if I could put a contemporary or attractive fire heater in their instead. My ceilings are 3m and it's probably around half way up the wall or less. I have seen decorative fireplaces that are flush mount as if a picture frame almost. Can this be done, does anyone know a suitable product?? Re: Attractive fireplace to replace old in wall a/c?? 2Jul 09, 2012 10:28 pm Are you after a wood or gas fireplace? A hang on the wall fireplace in wood or gas does not exist unfortunately, however you could either push the fire through the wall and have it mounted outside for a flush look inside, or build a frame out into the room to take the unit size. The only other option is to go for a electric fake fire which will hang on the wall, however it will not heat the area which your A/C used to. Your house roof does not show rusting other than some surface rust on the flashings. In my opinion you dont need to replace or paint the roof other than treat surface rust… 1 10232 ok thanks - yes was wondering if that should have been listed as Option Three! 2 7757 |
