I was planning on putting in a flued gas heater into my apartment and I was advised that the unit would not function well on very cold days because the inner city Melbourne (where the apartment is) has low gas pressure. It would work with moderate gas usage in the area but not on colder days when everyone is taxing the system.
I wasn't aware that this was the case. Can anyone put any light (pardon the pun) on this ? I assume that for newer suburbs that this is not the case.
I have been advised that a reverse cycle inverter is a better choice.
