Was thinking of either a TH330 or TH430 to replace my old Vulcan Gas Furnance 902. Apparently the transformer and gas valved are defective. Transformer was supplying 86volts, way above the 24v required. My old Vulcan heater has lived to a ripe old age of 29 years. God bless it!
My main concern is the noise level emitted from either of the machines and secondary, would the TH330 be less complicated to maintain than the TH430 as it doesn't have multi-zoning? Last thing I want is yearly repairs over the course of the next 15 years for the life of the unit.
I am being quoted for $5225-$5500 (in Melbourne) for the units which will include for supply and install of ducts to 14 outlets and the installation of another return air duct as the current one is too small. $5225 is for the TH330 and $5500 is for TH430. Quotation will also include for the removal of ducts and existing unit.
