Hi guys,
Just completed frame stage, building through Dennis Family homes and have been advised that if we are planning on installing cooling, it would be best to do this during the build. We are building a 29sq double storey house and have decided to go with evaporative cooling due to lower costs - installation, running costs & also environmental impact.
As standard, only heating is provided by the builder and as such they have 'recommended' this same provider of heating to install a cooling option. Dennis Family heating/cooling contractors (J&J Heating Pty Ltd) have recommended the Bonaire Summer Breeze - VSS55, with 6 ceiling outlets for $3607 (supply & installation).
My sister recently had a split system (refrigerated cooling) installed in her 2 storey unit by a local company called Plum Heating & Cooling, so I have since contacted them as she raved about how great their service, installation and price was.
Plum Heating & Cooling have recommended CoolBreeze QMC125 evaporative cooling system with 6 ceiling vents (ezyvent), manual controller, quietflo duct, wall mounted controller for $3640(supply & installation of) and have quoted an additional $100 for a digital controller.
Has anyone had experience with either of these brands/models?
Any recommendations as to the better model, since the price difference is negligible...?
Thanks in advance
