What are the risks or issues of installing a 3rd party controller like this over the standard BRC24Z8. I have set up about 6-7 zones. Many thanks in advance [edited for a typo] Re: Daikin inverter and Advantage Air Myair 2Nov 03, 2011 8:22 pm Why bother? Would you buy a brand new Mercedes Benz and then get a Great Wall steering rack to steer it? Re: Daikin inverter and Advantage Air Myair 3Nov 07, 2011 3:41 pm The MyAir is basically a zone controller for their Opposed Blade Dampers. The dampers are like a set if double doors that can open/close in 10% increments so you can control the air flowing into each zone. My understanding is that the Daikin controller can only turn the zones on/off. I don't know if the MyAir can control the entire system or if you have to run it in tandem as a zone controller only. How do you remove one of these ceiling air con vents? And is it possible to disconnect the duct joined to the vent from inside the house, without going into the roof cavity? 0 5947 Hi all, sorting out the ducted air con for a 350sqm double story house.
