Browse Forums Heating, Cooling & Insulation 1 Sep 04, 2011 6:40 pm Hi Guys I have a twenty year old double story house with Sarking in the roof. I was up there having a look the other day and I noticed a fairly large rectangular sized piece hanging down revealing the terracotta tiles underneath. Should I tape it back up or something? I suspect that it might be there to allow moisture from the bathroom to escape as it is near the bathroom fan in the roof which has no flu of its own to send moisture outside. Does anyone know if cutting a piece away of Sarking is or used to be common practice and can provide any technical support on this. Cheers 2 7525 Building Standards; Getting It Right!
