Browse Forums Heating, Cooling & Insulation 1 Aug 19, 2011 10:11 am My home was flooded on Feb 4th and my Central Heating Unit was atleast 4 foot underwater for a period of approximately 8 hours. Insurance has replaced the ducting, servicemen spent approx 1 hour working on the heating unit and they eventually fired it up. We are still not living in our home at this stage, so the system has not run for longer than several minutes. Now received Certificate of Compliance - what problems could be anticipated for the continued life of this unit. The unit is old - not quite sure on when we had it installed - lost all that information in the flood also. Yes it had a house on it. But Melbourne water only wanted something the original size of the existing house. We managed to fit a 45sq house on. 10 33668 Give Jonathan a call. Tell him you know me.
