Hi,
I want to upgrade our manual digital "Pyrox" thermostat with something like the Honeywell Prestige or Venstar T5800. Both of these replacement units use a 24VAC common and a return, is this the only two wires needed for this type of replacement thermostat? If so why has the Pyrox got 4?
The heating unit is a Bonaire B3, I have had a look at where the 4 wire loom goes into the B3; alongside the 4 wire connector there is also a 2 wire terminal labelled "Thermo", is this the 24VAC that I'm looking for?
Can someone help me with a wiring diagram so that I can change the thermostat or give me some direction if it's even possible? I have contacted Bonaire (Climate Technologies) and they claim they don't hold the wiring diagrams or install manuals for the units, they only manufacture them and it's the installers that have these items...
I have a picture of the B3 terminals where the comms loom and the "Thermo" terminals are if it helps (however I'm not sure how to show it on the forum).
Thank you in advance for any help.
Regards,
-Warren
