Browse Forums Heating, Cooling & Insulation 1 Jul 08, 2011 10:29 pm Hi guys, Well the frustration has kicked in as for the 4th time in 18 months my Bonaire evap/heating system has mysteriously stopped working. Even more frustrating is this has happened on a Friday night where I cannot contact Climate Technologies until Monday (Ridiculous!) Anyway, I was tried turning the heating on tonight and nothing happened. In the past I've been instructed to reset the system by "holding the up arrow and pressing the On/Off button for 5 seconds". This method brings the word "Code" on the screen which flashes 15 times. After this point you're meant to simply turn it on. Well now, when I turn it on the Heat option is not there! All I have is my cooling options. Please please help! What can I do... it's cold in Victoria this time of year! :S Re: Bonaire Problem! Urgent Help Required 4Jul 21, 2011 10:40 pm Because they are best heater on the market these days Bonaire - Builder's delight Brivis - Was a great heater but not anymore Omega - What is that Lennox - Not a bad heater but bit out dated and not australian made Re: Bonaire Problem! Urgent Help Required 5Jul 22, 2011 8:35 am What about Brivis, HX201 four zone.5.8 star most efficient on market so they say Re: Bonaire Problem! Urgent Help Required 6Jul 24, 2011 12:45 pm What .2 of a star more than a Braemar what you think you are going save maybe a few cents difference each quarter you may even save more if the Brivis breaks down as i believe Brivis sometimes takes upto a month before coming out to repair their units under warranty The best value for money is the Braemar 4.7 star units lot of people think upgrading to a 5 star heater is gonna save them heaps but really the difference you pay to upgrade to a 5 star heater would take you at least 10 years to get your money back so if you sell up before then you have wasted your money also the real saving is zoning of the units alot of people buy a 5 star and don't even put zoning on them complete waste of time.
