We are having evaporative cooling installed in our house while it's being built, rather than ducted air con. Cheaper and, after living in Brisbane for 3.5 years, believe me, even the recent 40 degree heat we had here in Melbourne was far drier than any 30+ day up north!
Anyway, how are people who have evaporative cooling finding it? We aren't going to change our minds, but I would still be interested in knowing how that form of cooling is going for people.
