We have a BAL-12.5(ember attack) and require our colorbond roof to be fully sarked. Does that mean there should be no gaps? Taped at joins? No ridge caps showing? (b) The roof/wall junction shall be sealed, to prevent openings greater than 3 mm, either by the use of fascia and eaves linings or by sealing between the top of the wall and the underside of the roof and between the rafters at the line of the wall. It is better to ensure there are no gaps in the roof structure for the embers to enter in the first place. i had the my concreters concrete right up to the fence.
