Browse Forums Heating, Cooling & Insulation Re: Lennox ducted replacement quote 3Feb 22, 2011 6:14 pm chrisandkate Is it an extra $6840 on top of $4440? unless you have the bigger ducting as standard it may not work properly. The bigger ducting is required to get the right air flow through the unit. If it doesn't flow enough the unit will simply freeze up. I have a good mate who is a lennox distributor and I can't sell me the required bits for that price of $6840 alone. One downside to Lennox stuff is that its big. Really big, they need extra room around them as they have quite large profiles but still need a minimum space around them to work. Is it ducted heating in floor? The ducting is through the floor on the first floor (5 vents) then from the ceiling on the second floor (4 vents). Looking at the quote again, it looks like $4440 is just for the heater change over and $6840 is for the added refridgerated aircon. Is this still an OK price? They will connecting to the existing ductwork. Just be careful with building stability during construction, that is when the structure may be weakened, refer to your engineering drawings for stability methodology. 1 7223 Can anyone recommend a good/affordable retaining wall and fence builder that I can get a quote from located in Sydney? 8 45790 Last year I had a gas leak at my house. 3 days later, I have about 1 sqm of my exposed aggregate paving broken up.
