Browse Forums Heating, Cooling & Insulation 1 Feb 03, 2011 12:13 pm Hi I'm about start building with PD and have Brivis ducted heating as standard. I got a quote from PD for Brivis Evap cooling which was about $1500 more than the local guys so I would prefer to install after handover. My question is, Is it worth me upgrading the heating to a network controller to control both heating and cooling down the track or is it easy to replace the standard controller later on as I believe the Evap system comes with the network controller as standard (Brivis L63 Contour series)? Obviously i would rather just run a single controller so do i upgrade the controller through PD or just get the controller replaced when Evap goes in?? Thanks in advance!! Re: Brivis Evap Controller question 2Feb 03, 2011 1:26 pm yes the can work together, if you get at least a 4 star brivis heater and above. From my understanding the net worker doesn't work on the cheaper heater. But i may be wrong since they have recently upgraded there range. The networkers are worth around 250-300. If builder chargers you 250 or so to upgrade its not really worth it. Re: Brivis Evap Controller question 3Feb 03, 2011 2:47 pm From what i understand its the Brivis Me30iXA model? Maybe other PD customers can tell me if thats correct for a single storey 24sq access home?? Will the network controller be compatible with this unit? You can really use anything you want the main consideration would be how it looks once painted/finished - or the look you want. Cabinetmakers use MDF because its cheap… 2 9959 I would say both styles you have pictured are steel. The lower chord of the first pic would be a massive lump if made using timber considering the size of the rafters. If… 1 6150 1 13123 |
