Any ideas please? Want to increase ventilation in a basement room. Have a laundry that backs onto this basement room (split level place - the laundry is half a level higher than basement room). If I can put something like a vent in the wall between laundry and basement, it would be halfway up the wall in the laundry and just below the cornice in the basement.
The laundry is well ventilated and gets quite a bit of light. Thought this would increase air flow in basement and even bring in some light. Thought something between wall studs that has mesh to stop any bugs. Been searching on the net. Found something called a return air pathway. Would something like this do? Any suggestions? Has anyone had to do anything like this? All advice appreciated.
