Browse Forums Heating, Cooling & Insulation 1 Dec 05, 2010 2:04 pm Hi OUr new house has honeywell heating and cooling (ducted). We have always had evaportative so I am a complete novice on this. It has a Honeywell brochure, but the outside unit is uni aire - southern cross series. it is a single story largish house. It is making a huge noise and seemily taking a long time to cool down. So anyone heard of Honeywell ? Any recommended engineers? in Melbourne to give it a once over? What is the deal with ducted airconditinoing, should it be noisy?? Any help, links really appreciated. It is driving me crazy. I think the system is about 10 years old and the 1800 number on the panel doesnt work anymore. renobeginner Hi all, sorting out the ducted air con for a 350sqm double story house.
