Hard? 5Nov 23, 2010 6:40 am I had a look on the roof the other day - The air con seems to be pretty much screwed on to the steel 'dropper'. Im assuming the dropper is well and truly bolted to the roof frame, but I cant see it Re: Removing old Evaporative air con. Hard? 6Nov 27, 2010 10:05 am as long as the dropper that the air con is sitting on is in good cond it is very easy to do. But older air con dropper sizes are different to modern ones. you may need to get a adopter made to take the new air con. Air con installing companys dont charge that much for a change over and if everything is straight forward should only take about 1-2hrs to do. hope this helps.
