Looking at getting a Panasonic CS/CU-E9LKR http://panasonic.com.au/products/specif ... ectID=5766 installed in the bedroom, just above the bedhead.
However, was told by the sales person that the Panasonics have an usual design, that the flap opens upwards, so that the air flows downwards, and hence might not be good being above the bed. Apparently, all the other air cons have the flap opening downwards, (so air flows upwards) and the sales person suggested I get a Fujitsu instead. According to the salesperson, the Panasonics are designed like this because their main market is for countries that use heating predominately.
Is this true, and really a concern? Can anyone who has a Panasonic confirm? Thanks.
