Bascially break down is around $1k for compressor, and $1.6k for labour. I understand that he will be replacing it with a similar compressor, being the Carlyle millenium scroll compressor. We just ended up getting a 9.4kw split system installed as we figured it was better value for money (low 3k) than having to spend the same amount to fix the compressor which may blow up again after 12 months. roonzy Hi, Just wandering how you end up going with this.
