I am in the process of building a home and plan to make it as energy efficient as possible.I have therefore investigated solar electricity and have planned, and instructed the builder to install the ducted heating and cooling units on the opposite side to the north facing roof space so we may maximise the sun exposure. When I requested that it be moved,I was told that to meet "building regulations",it had to be positioned close to laundry. Can anyone tell me if this is true or is this just a little too inconvenient for the builder to move? Thanks Jezzza P.S. building in SE Melbourne I had an old shower unit that broke on me and when I took it off, there were only 2 water pipes, instead of the normal 2 water pipes and a shower head pipe.
