It will have villaboard or plasterboard in the internal face. How an I work out what R value the construction has? I'm thinking it might just be easier to put in R2 batts. You also need to adjust the figure because this is given for a 1 metre thick piece of material. In this case, you would need to fit the apropirate R rating of insulation in side the wall cavity. Have you installed sisulation ? Suburbia is where the developer bulldozes out the trees, then names the streets after them.
