Browse Forums Heating, Cooling & Insulation Re: Mannix or RitePrice (SA)? 2Sep 14, 2010 3:27 pm We just had a Fujitsu ducted system put in by Rite Price Valley View. Mannix were a bit cheaper on the initial quote but we decided to go with Rite Price as we liked their sales rep more and they matched Mannix's quote anyway. Pretty positive experience all round and the installers were good too.. professional, quick, friendly, neat. And it all still works 1 week later Also went to Climat and their sales rep tried to sell us an outdated Daikin model, all the while talking about the new energy efficiency regulations and how the Fujitsu wouldn't comply etc etc whereas the Daikin was the one that wouldn't Re: Mannix or RitePrice (SA)? 3Sep 15, 2010 1:04 pm Thank you for sharing your experience. The sales reps from each company came over yesterday to give me a quote and like you, Mannix provided a cheaper quote but RitePrice said they will match or beat it. The guy from RitePrice was very nice and was able to answer all my questions where the guy from Mannix was acting like he didn't wanna be here and in a rush. I asked him a few questions about the installation and got told to just leave it to the professionals. I called RitePrice and told them about the cheaper quote of Mannix, the sales rep said no problem, they will beat it like he promised. I think it's a no brainer, we will go with RitePrice, as they got 10 years warranty on labour unlike Mannix, they only got 5 years. |
