Regards JT Re: moving split system AC 2Sep 14, 2010 10:57 am Moving a split AC is not as easy as it looks. you would need to move wiring, gas pipes (for the refregerant) and also ensure that a stable base is provided for the compressor. Personally, I would get the pros to do it. One more thing, you should get a cert of compliance from the plumber/electrician. God forbid that somehign should happen to your house due to you doing this yourself, your insurance company may decide not to pay up !
