Browse Forums Heating, Cooling & Insulation 1 Sep 07, 2010 9:10 pm I'm looking at having our plumber install a gas pipe to our new verandah for outdoor dining on cooler nights, so that we can install a natural gas fuelled patio heater by next winter. I am looking for one like those you see in outdoor eating areas of pubs and restaurants, mounted on the wall. I'm not looking for a mobile one, with a gas bottle. If you have experience with them, can you provide any advice, recommendations re brands, and suggested suppliers? Online is ok, or suppliers in south-eastern Melbourne. Re: Natural gas patio heater brands and suppliers 2Sep 07, 2010 9:39 pm We're doing the same thing. Re: Natural gas patio heater brands and suppliers 6Sep 20, 2010 10:37 pm Went to Bunnings last Saturday. None in stock. Went to BBQ's Galore and they had one in their catalogue for about $350, and none on display (but one out the back in their storeroom for their staff to use). I ended up buying a 'standard' fitting for $21 and will have the plumber/gasfitter put a pipe in so that we have the option of buying and mounting one on the wall next winter.
