The house is approx 300sqm and I'm wondering what the majority of Perth homes are using these days for insulation. I'm not a fan of fibreglass insulation - we have had wool in our other house and found it to be good. Has anyone recently put in wool batts or something other than fibreglass? Generally polystyrene boards > rockwool > fibreglass > polyester for the same R value Remember that R values from 1.5 to 6 alter the cost significantly. The latter is 4x as thick as the former. Insulating ceiling is cheaper than wall. Prices vary from $10-$25/m2 The most expensive is the spray foam stuff. Found the answer.
