About to build a home and need to pick a heating and refrig (ducted) system for a two story home in Melbourne. The builder recomended a Brivis MPS however I have been told that Daikin is the best?? Is there a website that reviews models and provides high level prices? Thanks again. * Are we there yet ? The brivis system would be GAS heating with electric cooling daikin would be ELECTRIC heating and electric cooling In melbourne gas heating is the smartest option IMHO Dynamic Heating & Cooling - http://www.DIYheating.com.au DIY Ducted Heating & Cooling Systems DIRECT to the public Re: Heating and refrigerated Air 3Nov 02, 2007 7:11 am These should help.
But I suggest you also make you house as eco as possible to reduce your power bills. energy ratings http://www.energyrating.gov.au/acmenu.html Sizing tips. http://www.energyrating.gov.au/acl.html performance of heat pumps. http://www.energyrating.gov.au/library/pubs/200417-mepsheatpumps.pdfl And this one is a pretty neat idea. Casa will like this one as partof his house plans. http://www.ice-energy.com Steve Re: Heating and refrigerated Air 4Nov 03, 2007 11:30 am Thanks for the feedback.
