Does anyone have any experience or advice regarding the use of wood fired stoves for cooking and heating. We plan to install an esse stove in our tasmanian farmhouse when it is rebuilt - work to begin November. In addition to cooking we plan to use it for heating hot water for household use and for heating other rooms via radiators. We'll have an electric companion oven and electric back-up for the hot-water heating system.
Any opinions, experience, advice, stories, warnings etc would be appreciated.
