Hi all
Has anybody had any experience with the Gen 111 Intelligent life air con system.
We came across it at the Home Show recently.
Any feedback would be appreciated.
Cheers.

The people who I know that have got it say it really works well. I wouldn't think you would get the same benefit in smaller single storey homes where a system with one sensor would give you an okay solution. The GenIII is not at the cheap end of the market, people pay $18-20K for a system. I would get a quote for a GenIII and a standard system and see how they compare. Cheers Re: Gen 111 Intelligent life 3Jun 16, 2010 9:25 pm Thanks for the reply studog I did in fact get a quote for the gen111. The sales rep was fantastic, came out to meet me and explain everything in detail...twice. For my double story house i was given two options that ranged from 27,000 (1 system, able to run at 65% capacity) - 32,000 (two systems, 100% usage). With our living areas having a north aspect, 450 eaves, double glazed windows, I'm deciding whether this system is necessary (or would evap cooling be fine). I never would have thought cooling would be so mind boggling.... Re: Gen 111 Intelligent life 4Jun 16, 2010 10:05 pm bijali Thanks for the reply studog I did in fact get a quote for the gen111. If you're comfortable with the spend then look at a Daikin VRV system with multiple fancoils for a much better controlled environment. Re: Gen 111 Intelligent life 6Jun 18, 2010 9:05 am bijali Thanks iceman...i'll look into those suggestions Also could you recommend possible evaporative cooling systems? Never had anything to do with evaporative... Not good in humid heat but would be OK in the sort of dry heat you get out South West... Thanks for your reply. I will just wait and see I guess.
