Anybody had experiences with these? Seems 20 cm drop would be OK , any more and i think they are to dangerous. Most modern fans are arleady set at their shortest rod length and to shorten them any more will result in a drop in efficiency. If safety is a concern then avoid metal blade fans and go for either timber blade fans or moulded plastic blade fans. Hunter Pacific have a both their "Concept" & "Typhoon" models available with plastic blades - much safer and still maintaining good performance. http://www.hunterpacific.com.au/product ... oon52M.pdf. 4 6201 If you can calculate the reasonable charged head from let's say 100mm below the gutter to the top of where the vertical riser's horizontal discharge pipe will be, that… 11 17530 Those span tables can be pushed a little for a low deck if you dont mind a little flex.
