I have a Breamar 5 Star Heater installed in 2007 that is driving me nuts. Keeps erroring out on Fault Code -18 (Condensate detected at start up). I have re-levelled the unit as it had shifted a bit over time. Using a bit of PVC I can suck a little condesate out of the unit but its never more than a teaspoon of water. Are these units that sensitive to condensate ? Leaving the PVC tube installed I have observed that the flow out is a consistent series of drips initially but then decreases to nothing after the unit is running for some period.
Anyone have experience with this ?
My next idea is software problem
