Browse Forums Heating, Cooling & Insulation 1 Apr 25, 2010 11:32 pm Hi all, My wife and I are looking to install ducted heating and cooling in Newcastle NSW to our new home that is being constructed (Exl garage and patio the internal dimensions are 200 sq metres). We are fortunate to have natural gas to our block and as first home buyers are looking for the most reliable and energy efficient system that will last. Ideally 9 outlets and 3-5 zones. We had been previously advised to go for an Acton ESP system but evidently having gas are looking at this as being a more cost effective method of heating. For AC we are open to the best and most affordable system to address our needs. Our questions: 1. Between two different quotes to date one has recommended a 32KW Braemar system while another has recommend a Braemar 16KW output system - who is more likely right? 2.We have been quoted a system that also has for AC an Accent Air system that is 16.5KW with a digital scroll compressor (AA016.5-A) but we cant find any details on this bolt on system to the 32KW Braemar. Can anyone advise on the suitability / efficiency / reliability of this brand? 3. Any advise on any other brands we should or should not consider? Any comments would be appreciated. Thank you. That is really helpful.
