Browse Forums Heating, Cooling & Insulation 1 Apr 23, 2010 8:02 pm I was wondering if anyone has any advice when looking for gas fireplace. Its going to go in a room that is quite open approx. 40 sq m. Fitted into brick work. I was looking at Rinnai site and saw the special on the constellation model ($2499) but when i spoke to someone about it they said it doesn't even put out any heat. Seems silly, is this true? Is it just for looks only? So what brand, model do i go for and who in WA is good to see.... cheers Re: Gas Fireplace Help 2Apr 23, 2010 8:59 pm i'm not exactly sure of the details but when i researched there seemed a couple of types. the ones that are enclosed by glass are the ones that put out heat, the ones that are open put out some but I was told it was a lot more ornamental than heating (though differenent brands do put out different levels) Hi all, My first post, we are building a house and can’t decide the layout of the lounge room. We have a large N/W facing window and are wanting to have a wood slow… 0 13719 No the fireplace doesn’t work. It’s been enclosed. I’m not sure what was removed, as it was done quite some time ago - well before what I can see with photos online… 2 11569 I would probably render it and then paint it as per your other advice, or gyrpock over the top. 1 3303 |
