I still have a basic question about noise. How noisy are these things? I have the option of underfloor or external installation. What would you recommend? Do brands vary re noise levels. I'm sure you get the drift of my questions. That was the case with my friend's old one anyway. If you have it externally - even less noise! Underfloor, perhaps more warmth as it enters into the house direct? Our unit that ran it was outside and was a little noisy when it started up, only if you were outside though, you couldn't hear it inside. Our ducts were in the floor too which was great for drying washing in the cold weather!
