Get it serviced every year... more if you use it all the time... right now I'd have a look at the return air filter... Clean return filter often - every three months is a great idea - the most likely source of issues if not done regularly. It looked like both we running because one fan was creating suction to make the other one spin backwards. All fixed now Hi all, sorting out the ducted air con for a 350sqm double story house.
