It will be a back to back installation and we've been quoted $2800 including all electrics, is that a good price ? Sorry I haven't been shopping for units that size, we're getting a 19kW for $12k and a 3.5kW Daikin for my office for $1850 so your 8k Daikin at $2800 sound great to me. But I wonder what a Fujitsu, Panasonic or Mitusibshi Heavy Industry 8kW air-con would cost? Maybe a bit cheaper than the Daikin, they are considered "top-shelf" but it also depends on what the installer chargers and when they can do it. At that size competition is fierce so you have that in your favour Re: Daikin 8KW - is this a good price ? 6Dec 17, 2009 11:54 pm Thanks everyone I did some more research today and it definitely seems we are getting a good deal at that price. The Fujitsu and the Panasonic are both around $2500 for the similar unit to the Daikin so I think we'll go with the Daikin considering it's not that much more. Re: Daikin 8KW - is this a good price ? 7Dec 18, 2009 1:47 pm We had a 8kw daikin installed back in 2002 for $3500 (in QLD) so I definitely think you are getting a good deal at $2800 if that includes installation We have fujitsu in the current house which is awesome and we loved the daikin too, both are top quality units.
