I've just paid $4000 towards our Actron so I probably can't get out of it now, they're installing Friday and have probably ordered the unit today! BUT I've just seen a Bing Lee advert. and called them to confirm, they are doing 14kW Panasonic inverter ducted systems for $7500 installed. Or 12.5kW for $6990. That's for a single level house (but they will do the same price if we only do the top floor on a 2 storey), with 7 outlets and 2 zones. Our Actron is the 18.9kW ESP Plus model, we can only get 3 droppers below anyway and we're paying $4500 more. OUCH!!! Is there any consolation in this? Yes I know the features of the ESP plus and I know they're nifty but are they $4500 more cost nifty? But still $7.5k just sounds so much better than $12k. Oh well ... The unit normally clips into a metal plate screwed to the wall, either plate is not flush, or unit not hooked in and could be hanging from the pipes partly, either might… 2 12593 Hi all, sorting out the ducted air con for a 350sqm double story house.
