Hi to all the experts over here in Heating, Cooling + Insulation...
Please help us to settle an "argument" at home re what phase power we need for the new house!
* Double storey house, around 40 sq.
* Gas ducted heating (0.4 kw)
* Evaporative air con (16.7 kw)
* General power & lights (2 kw)
* No downlights
* No plasma tvs
* Couple of computers
* Couple of ceiling fans
* Possible future single (small) inverter on wall downstairs in one particular spot (just thinking if we have another summer like 2009)...
DH says we don't need 2 Phase or 3 Phase as we're not running a massive refrigerated aircon unit or any hardcore machinery.
I'm thinking we probably do need 2 Phase, just because, well it seems like the right thing to do, planning for future possible requirements, etc.
It seems like one of those things you should do at the time of the build because it will cost stacks to do later. I have no technical backup for this, just a gut feeling.
Who's right??? What do you recommend? What are you doing for your own build?
Love to know what you think!
~ cheers, J
