It takes a bit of fiddling to get the temperature just right to begin with, but that's all to do with plumbing/water pressure. Once you have it how you want it, there's no change unless some so-and-so turns on a tap somewhere else. Which shower head do you have? It's the shower rail one that the builder (PD) supplied, not sure of a brand.
