I sit on them when Im cold That's my 13YO's only complaint about this house. He loved sitting on the heating duct in his room in our old place. As he says, it's a bit hard to sit on the ceiling.... If you're on a slab, you don't get a choice. We find the ceiling vents work really well anyway. As for drying washing...we put an extra point in our laundry, which has plenty of space for clothes airers. Everything dries super-fast under the duct.
