Browse Forums Heating, Cooling & Insulation 1 May 04, 2009 11:27 am I have recently purchased the Brivis Evaporative Cooler. Does anyone now how to restart the wall control/network screen without turning off the unit? I think the screen is freeze for some reason and all I can see is just dot dot on the very top of the screen. I haven't used it for a month due to the cold weather in Melbourne. Just for a hint, I've made a contact with the service center, and they told me to press Key 1 & Key 3 and hold it for 20 seconds, and etc etc (I don't really remember). This is the model I have: Any help will be very much appreciated. I am not sure that would work. I can even see anything on the screen. I'll take a snap of the current status, and post it here. Thanks for your responses. Re: How to restart Brivis Wall Control with FN Key 8May 06, 2009 2:59 pm Brad75 Yes just pull the controller off it's backing plate and then put back on after a few seconds it just clip off with a small screwdriver or knife Thank you Brad for you kind response. But I am a bit afraid to pull the controller, because don't know how to. Do you have a screenshot or manual of how to pull it off? Thanks, Jony Re: How to restart Brivis Wall Control with FN Key 10May 08, 2009 10:02 am Hi, To reset the controller these are the instructions I have Take controller off wall (see Brads post they just pop off) Hold key 1 -3 together (3 seconds) while still holding 1-3 together attach back to bracket hold a further 3 seconds I have done this on my controller and it resets it **** if this is the master controller write down all the settings so you can reprogram Re: How to restart Brivis Wall Control with FN Key 11Dec 04, 2013 12:36 pm OMG thank you thank you so much....you have just saved me a $275 service call out fee! We moved 6 months ago and I think something must have happened to the controller when the power was cut off prior to our move. Rang Brivis and they wouldnt tell me how to do it and nothing was in the manual. So happy right now! Re: How to restart Brivis Wall Control with FN Key 12Mar 09, 2014 1:26 pm Hi Brad, I am having similar issue with my Brivis network controller. I have tried resetting by holding keys 1&3 and plugging the controller back to the wall plate but every time it still comes back with 'Hailing Master Networker' message. Are you able to suggest any thing further? Thanks. Re: How to restart Brivis Wall Control with FN Key 13Jun 04, 2021 12:29 am I too had a blank screen with 8 dots. None of the suggestions to restart in the manual worked. I went outside, turned off the 240 V switch briefly that powers the heating unit and turned it back on. Went inside and bingo, the controller had sprung to life with all the usual settings. Your house should come in "as new" condition.
