Browse Forums Heating, Cooling & Insulation 1 Apr 12, 2009 11:28 am Hi All I need help please!! We are located in Melbourne and not far off starting our build. My nephew who is in Qld is an air-conditioning installer and was going to arrange for us to have our unit purchased and installed for us through his work. He is now injured and not working so we have to look at other arrangements. Can anyone help us by giving us some suggestions on brands and maybe a quote for a good refrigerated reverse unit? We want one with zones (7/8) and quite a few outlets (maybe 12/14). Our house is 34 sq but the cooling area is around 26sq. We want a reliable unit that is energy efficient if that is possible? My nephew was suggesting Brivis as one of the better units but we are happy to listen to any advice. We have arranged to have 3 phase power installed already. Happy for any quotes or advice Thanks in advance for any help all and Happy Easter Cheers, Lee Re: Help with Price for Ducted System 2Apr 12, 2009 3:27 pm I would hit up these guys for a quote and recommended system - http://www.aircondirect.com.au/ Blog - http://snakedr.blogspot.com/ Build Thread - viewtopic.php?f=31&t=12084&p=307406#p307406 Status - PCI 15/10. And the Actron ESP Ultima is probably the most versatile/efficient A/C available. Made in Australia too, something which should be a factor in all of our buying decisions right now.
