Hello,
I have an existing colourbond patio that we are parially enclosing. We are building a frame under the colourbond roof to hold a timber lined ceiling. Check out the images for a look at what we've done so far.
I've bought Bradford gold bats but the carpenter helping with the timber frame mentioned dampness and moister settling on the bats which could get to the timber. He mentioed foil lining but my question is whether this has to be laid directly under the colourbond roof (i.e roof has to be removed) or can it be placed directly over the gold bats?
I guess I'm trying to save myself removing the roof.
I've been looking at http://www.bradfordinsulation.com.au/Pr ... -Foil.aspx but I can't work out if it will suit what I need.
Any advice is appreciated. Like ⋅ Add a comment ⋅ Pin to Ideaboard ⋅ Like ⋅ Add a comment ⋅ Pin to Ideaboard ⋅ Like ⋅ Add a comment ⋅ Pin to Ideaboard ⋅
