Thanks Ryan Building Vancouver 33 - My Thread https://forum.homeone.com.au/viewtopic.php?f=31&t=89689 Re: Brivis ICE add on cooling question.... 2Jan 31, 2009 2:49 pm the unit alone is in excess of 4K (15kwatt single phase or 18kw three phase), to that you need to add installation and commissioing, proably 6k all up.. Keep in mind a retro fit my not finish up as neat. As the copper pipe will need to go the the external wall and then covered.
If you realy serious how about getting the circuit breaker installed where the unit is going to be and maybe get the copper pipe installed. Makes the job later easier. Re: Brivis ICE add on cooling question.... 3Jan 31, 2009 3:04 pm You also need to upgrade the size of the ductwork.
Needs to be 150mm not the 100mm as used for the heater. (I think) If you plan on putting it in down the track you would be advised to do all the extra bits now (as suggested the plumbing, power, ducting etc) as it will be much cheaper. Can it be attached to any existing heating unit?
