Air, like water flows down the path of least resistance. Resistance can be in the supply air or the outflow. Is the bedroom duct run blocked or too long (do you need a balancing register to reduce reduce flow to other rooms)? Is the relative size of the window opening in the bedroom smaller than for the other rooms? (decrease the openings in other rooms and keep the bedroom window wide open) Is the air flow from other rooms impeded from going through the bedroom? (keep the bedroom door open, open all its windows and decrease the opening in other rooms) Re: Evap Cooling 3Jun 16, 2009 9:40 pm Check your ducts as well. Like PointCookFella said, air runs to the point of least resistance. If the duct is too long or looks like a snake (bends left and right) the airflow maybe somewhat restricted. You may need to also upsize the ducting if none of these things work. A master bedroom is usually a 350mm diameter duct. Maybe you could upsize to a 400mm duct to get more air. |
