They are 12 years old and have all gone very yellow due to to UV, and I am looking to fix it, either by painting or using H2O2. I have removed and replaced a couple by getting up in the ceiling and spring the clips back to drop them out of the gyprock ceiling. I was wondering whether they can simply be pulled down, allowing the sprung clips to lift and then pushed back up letting the ceiling force the clips closed? Does anyone have experience with these?
