When it gets unbearably warm I simply step out of my door into the living area which is cool. I have a fan running in my office but not much improvement. Trying to avoid running the a/c just to cool down my office, measuring 3..0m(W) x 3.5m(L) x 2.8m(H). So according to an online calculator for air transfers, ideally I should have air flowing between 180-300m3/hr. I am thinking of either a silent duct-less ceiling mounted exhaust fan or a silent ducted inline exhaust fan. Silent means maybe 30db but not more than 40db although safework says 50db is ok. I do online meetings a lot so the quieter the better. Logically a duct-less ceiling mounted exhaust fan (like for bathrooms) where the motor is on the fan is louder than inline fans.
