Replacing wall insulation

Hi all,

Just wondering if anyone had suggestions on installing/replacing wall insulation on an external wall which doesn't have wrap, our miners cottage being constructed before they used wrap means that any insulation will sit up against the weatherboards and we cant retrofit wrap in this particular spot.

Any suggestions welcome, we did think a rigid board might be easiest and avoid any moisture absorption.
